The management of archives at BPKP Bengkulu Province is not optimal because of the accumulation of inactive archives caused by the inadequate number of archivists compared to the number of existing archives. Based on these problems, the authors researched the management of inactive archives at the Bengkulu Province Representative Office of the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency. This research uses research aspects from Nooryani's theory (2018), which includes various steps such as archive surveys, compiling lists, proposing improvements, sorting, filing, describing, grouping, making description cards, numbering archives, and labeling boxes. The method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the management of inactive archives at the Representative Office had not been carried out optimally because some activities in the management process were not carried out. Archivists and records managers were found only to carry out certain aspects of inactive records management, not the entire process.
