Mempersiapkan Diri Melanjutkan Pendidikan untuk Siswa-Siswa Kelas 10 SMK Negeri 70 Jakarta Timur

Abstract

This activity broadens students' horizons and awareness to be more diligent in studying in preparation for continuing their education to higher education after graduating from vocational high school. Community service aims to introduce students who wish to continue their education to the Tarakanita College of Communication and Secretarial Sciences. The community service activity was held on Monday, Tuesday, June 23-24, 2025 at SMK Negeri 70 East Jakarta. There were several sessions held in class. Starting from the opening ceremony with an introduction, a hydroponics class, a class on preparing to continue education, a class on becoming a successful entrepreneur, a class on utilizing social media for marketing, creating creative ideas, and a class on preparing for work. Parallel classes for three majors, namely hospitality, culinary, and fashion were held alternately. There were around 114 students of SMK Negeri 70 who participated in the series of events. The students were very enthusiastic in the hydroponics training practice, and parallel classes on preparing to continue their education, becoming a successful entrepreneur, using social media for marketing and creating creative ideas, and preparing for work. Students are expected to start practicing to have intellectual, emotional, and spiritual intelligence to prepare themselves to continue their education to a higher level.
