Abstract

Pangudi Luhur II Servasius Senior High School, Bekasi, faces the need to strengthen students' character and leadership skills from the beginning of their secondary education. To address this need, the Basic Leadership Training (LDK) program was held on October 25–26, 2023, with the aim of equipping 10th and 11th grade students with leadership skills rooted in self-awareness and self-development, as emphasized in the leadership mental activity approach. This program was attended by 36 students and designed using outdoor methods, guided discussions, group dynamics, and individual and group reflection. Evaluation instruments in the form of guided reflection sheets, behavioral observations during the program, and a Likert-scale questionnaire were used to measure changes in self-understanding and leadership readiness. The results showed that 83% of participants were able to identify at least two specific strengths and two weaknesses, and 75% of participants demonstrated increased awareness of the importance of authentic leadership based on reflection and observation data. This activity positively contributed to the development of self-aware, reflective, and responsible young leaders.
