Workloads must be completed by one organizational unit within a certain time period. Productivity concerns the final results obtained in a process. Based on initial observations made by researchers, it was found that some employees had multiple positions, lack of employee discipline could be seen from employee late attendance, there were still staff who were not in the room during working hours, lack of training and development of human resources. This research was conducted at the Madina Bukittinggi General Hospital using quantitative correlation research methods with a population of 110 people and a sample of 52 people. The results of the chi-squer test showed that there was a relationship between workload and employee work productivity. It is hoped that hospitals can pay attention to the workload of their employees so that if the workload matches their abilities, employees will have high productivity.
