Abstract

In practice library services with media communication which have been launched in the last two years are still not utilized optimally by UNP library users or academics, research objectives: Explain and analyze the concept of internet media communication in the use of Sidaring services in the UNP Library, Understand and describe the obstacles to media communication internet that Sidaring service users encounter at the UNP Library. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques: Interviews, observations and documentation of research results show that the UNP Library Screening Service is a library innovation that answers the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic. This Sidaring service is a communication channel that facilitates interaction between users and librarians to borrow, return and consult libraries. Barriers to using Sidaring services occur due to semantic constraints caused by differences in understanding terms between users and librarians.
