The Regional Coordinator of the Borobudur District Education and Culture Office has effectively implemented a situational leadership style, evident in the adaptation of leadership approaches to varying situations and conditions. This approach is particularly relevant due to the diverse local dynamics and unique challenges in education management encountered by the Regional Coordinator. By employing this style, leaders can tailor their strategies to meet the specific needs of each subdistrict area within the Borobudur district. This study aims to explore how the situational leadership style is applied by the Regional Coordinator to enhance leadership effectiveness. Utilizing a qualitative descriptive method, the research focuses on the implementation of this style by the Regional Coordinator, employing observation and semi-structured interviews with key informants. Findings reveal that the Regional Coordinator adeptly employs all four situational leadership styles (telling, selling, participating, and delegating). Each style is applied appropriately, ranging from giving clear directives to active involvement of subordinates in decision-making processes. This adaptive leadership approach fosters a dynamic, responsive, and productive work environment, catering to the maturity levels of subordinates and diverse situational demands effectively.
