Efficiency and transparency in inventory management are essential components that must be implemented in organizations. This research aims to identify the inventory management information systems used by government agencies in Indonesia, as the government encourages each agency to develop information systems in all activities to support the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE), including the management of inventory categorized as state-owned assets (BMN). The research method employed is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques including indirect observation, literature review, and documentation. The research results show that the implementation of inventory management information systems is carried out according to each government agency, ranging from the central government, ministries/agencies, to regional governments, although the same information systems are used. These systems cannot be integrated due to several factors, such as technological and infrastructure limitations, as well as the varying characteristics and business processes of each agency.
